Lemonade

“Lemonade”

You start with lemons with sweet citrus smells
Cut them up and squeeze them well
Add a little water, lots of sugar too
Mix it all up and whaddaya got, you got

Lemonade
Oh, oh, oh, Lemonade
Oh, oh, oh, Lemonade
Oh, oh, oh, Lemonade

Milk is boring and water is blah
I don’t like the smell of beer at all
Soda burns upon my tongue
The very best drink for old and young is

Lemonade
Oh, oh, oh, Lemonade
Oh, oh, oh, Lemonade
Oh, oh, oh, Lemonade

I went walking in the park the other day
Hand in hand with a friend I’d made
Behind a tree he stole my very first kiss
And the taste upon his hesitant lips was

Lemonade
Oh, oh, oh, Lemonade
Oh, oh, oh, Lemonade
Oh, oh, oh, Lemonade

Lemonade! (Sweet and refreshing)
Lemonade! (Only the homemade kind)
Lemonade! (None of that pink stuff)
Lemonade! (Who’s ever seen a pink lemon anyway?)

Dad lights the charcoal and cooks some meat
Lightning bugs breeze by my seat
I feel the grass beneath my feet
The summer is endless, the summer is sweet like

Lemonade!
Oh, oh, oh, Lemonade
Oh, oh, oh, Lemonade
Oh, oh, oh, Lemonade
